The Scarlet Spotlight welcomes former Rutgers quarterback Mike Teel (2005-2008) for Episode 11. The three-year starter under center reflects on his time as a Scarlet Knight, including what it was like to play for head coach Greg Schiano, the emotions surrounding the historic 2006 win against Louisville and fighting for the QB role in Piscataway as a freshman. Additionally, the now 32-year-old Teel discusses being the head coach of his high school alma mater (Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey), his careers in the NFL and finance before entering coaching... and Teel plays word association with his former Rutgers football teammates. Danny and Jon touch on the recent news around the RU football program -- including dismissals and commitments, as the Sept. 1 opener approaches.
